Known for the sense of fun and creativity she brings to Pilates, Joanna helps her clients reach their goals in a light-spirited atmosphere.  She enjoys tailoring her sessions to suit any circumstance - working with old injuries, enhancing flexibility or achieving greater body awareness.

Joanna discovered Pilates in 2001 when pursuing relief from her own back and neck pain incurred from cycling.  Today, Joanna enjoys Pilates for strengthening and maintaining optimal health, along with Yamuna Body Rolling to relieve tight muscles.

Joanna received her classical style Pilates Certification from Dana-Joel Belkholm at Mind and Body, Inc., Seattle, WA in 2004 and two years later added Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) techniques to her repertoire.  In September 2007, she became a Certified YBR Instructor.  This giving her a greater understanding of muscle releasing, and how we hold emotional patterns in our bodies.

After growing up in Buffalo, New York and graduating from Muskingum College in Ohio, Joanna moved to Seattle where she has made her home for the last 12 years.  When not teaching Pilates, she can be found swimming, surfing, biking and hiking throughout the Northwest.
